Eligibility/Apply

VOLUNTEER CAMBODIA

Eligibility:

  • Be a native speaker of English (fluent)
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have no health problems
  • Be enthusiastic
  • Have cultural sensitivity and respect

No formal qualifications or teaching experience is required, although Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) qualification is an advantage. TEFL qualifications can be gained at any number of institutions, many of which offer online courses.

VOLUNTEER NEPAL

Eligibility:

  • be 18 years or older
  • have no major health problems
  • the teaching program requires a 6 week minimum commitment

VOLUNTEER PHILIPPINES

Eligibility:

  • be 18 years or older
  • have no major health problems
  • possess genuine openness to different cultures, sensibilities and conditions

VOLUNTEER THAILAND

Eligibility:

  • Be in good physical condition, be able to walk long distances and be able to tolerate heat;
  • Be 18 years old or over
  • Be available for a minimum of four weeks
  • Be able to speak English
  • Be able to work without assistance
  • Be able to work well with others and adapt to group living
  • We are looking for volunteers with a similar ideology to that of the reserve, so people that have worked in the area of training animals for exhibition, or for the benefit of humans are not suitable for this program. If this does apply to you, we have an alternative programs working with wildlife in Costa Rica and South Africa.

VOLUNTEER VIETNAM

Orphanage Program Eligibility:

  • Be 18 years but no older than 65
  • Have no health problems
  • Be enthusiastic
  • Be a native speaker of English

Teaching English Program Eligibility:

Requirements for Teaching English:

  • Be at least 18 years old but no older than 65
  • Have no health problems
  • Be enthusiastic
  • Be a native speaker of English (volunteers must be from Australia, Canada, Ireland, UK, USA, or New Zealand)
  • Have a TESOL Certificate, a college degree or a university degree

Requirements for Teaching French:

  • Be at least 18 years old but no older than 70
  • Have no health problems
  • Be enthusiastic
  • Have college/university degree
  • Speak at least intermediate English

  1. Complete the application form and return with 2 passport-size photos and your program fee to CCUSA.
  2. CCUSA will confirm that we have received your information and then CCUSA will contact you to arrange an interview.
